Day 1
The first day of the Rotary Germany tour we rallied up in Bremen and in Oldenburg. From these locations we were picked up by a bus and started our journey around Germany.
Our first location that we visited was the city of Köln. Köln was a really nice city with its biggest tourist attraction the Dom of Köln (Dom=Church). In Köln we had first a guided tour about the Dom and then some free time. In our free time we did the Locos dance/song ( the dance/song of the exchange students from Rotary district 1850). We got a lot of attention from people around us while doing this and the people started to take photos and I think they taught what we did was really cool. Other than doing the "Locos" we walked around in downtown and walked to the top of the Dom. 1100 stairs going up and another 1100 going down. My legs were really hurting after walking all those stairs!! But it was all worth it, the view upstairs was amazing. If i remember correctly, the tour guide said that the church is 170m high. And what made the experience even better was that it was raining a lot and there was also thunder not that far away from the tower.
Up in the Dom
After our visit in Köln we drove to Bonn and spent the night there.
